Women are more acquisitive to toxicant influence of nicotine, than the man, the American scientists consider. 954 persons have taken part in research from Norway with chronic obstructive disease of lungs. From them of 60 % were men, and 40 % - representatives of the weaker sex. All participants smoked at the moment of carrying out of research or were the former smokers.
In whole, in two groups there were identical deterioration of health of lungs at participants. However, when have compared age and a floor of examinees it has appeared, that at women of a problem with health of lungs begin much earlier and at smaller influence of nicotine.
Experts assume, that it can be bound to differences in anatomy of floors. Women respiratory tracts have less on the size, than at men that does cigarettes potentially more dangerous to representatives of the weaker sex, researchers have explained.
Many people consider, that, smoking some cigarettes in a week, do not put harm to health. However, proceeding from results of research, at women even rare smoking is hazardous to health enough of lungs, experts have underlined.
