Vegetables and fruitThe Dutch researchers have found out, that the use of fresh fruit and vegetables raises risk of development of a cancer at smokers.

Researchers from the Dutch national institute of public health and environment (RIVM) have proved, that the use of fresh fruit and vegetables raises risk of development of a cancer of a colon at smokers.
As authors of research note, earlier was considered, that prevalence in a ration of fresh fruit and vegetables is, besides other, effective way of preventive maintenance of a cancer of an intestine: the people eating in day of 600 and more grammes of vegetables and fruit, risk to be ill with a colon cancer for 20-25 percent less than what day ration contains less than 220 grammes of these products. However, it was found out, that in practice these references are fair only for the non-smoking.
Researchers have interrogated about a half-million the person from ten European countries about their ration and smoking then observed of respondents within 8,5 years.

Following the results of observations authors of work have come to conclusion, that containing in vegetables and substance fruit aggravate cancerogenic action of tobacco and probability of development of a cancer of an intestine at smokers with "green" a ration only raises. Thus at stopped to smoke vegetative products possess the same preventive effect, as at the non-smoking.
Making comments on this opening, the representative of the Dutch national institute of public health and environment Hans Verhagen has noticed, that results of research should become for smokers an occasion to stop to smoke, instead of to refuse vegetables and fruit.
