Medicine against a hepatitis C ...

Medicine against a hepatitis CThe American scientists have declared detection of a new class of medicines which block reproduction of a virus of a hepatitis C. Data are confirmed by laboratory experiments.

The command of researchers has found out activity in a key protein of a virus of a hepatitis C which is necessary for virus reproduction. Researchers have informed on it to magazine Science Translational Medicine.
Researchers also have found out small molecules capable to slow down virus reproduction, has told Dr. Jeffrey Glenn from Stendfordsky university in interview. Glenn and its colleagues have started to investigate components which could force to cease to work a protein.

"Components which we have found out represent a new class of potential medicines which, apparently, attack virus possibility to locate in liver cells," - the director of the Stenfordsky centre of research of a hepatitis and a liver has noted Glenn.

Researches in public are expected within 18 months, after preclinical researches and tests for animals.
"For treatment of a hepatitis C us the cocktail from different medicines is necessary as this virus has very big possibility to develop resistance," - has noted Glenn. "We need to influence it from different angles to reduce chances of that it mutated forms could win all medicines simultaneously".
