The raised maintenance of lead in blood ...
The lead getting to an organism from environment, breaks intellectual and emotional development of children.Employees of the Center of children's and youthful health at University of Bristol (Great Britain) assert, that toxic action on the central nervous system of the child obviously even at safe level of lead in blood (10 micrograms on decilitre).
Bristol researchers took blood on the analysis from 582 children at the age of two and a half years. At 27 % of examinees the lead maintenance in blood exceeded 5 micrograms on decilitre, that is made half of admissible norm. Scientists observed of participants of experiment till eight years, regularly doing by it the analysis of blood and estimating their successes in training and character of behaviour.
The conclusion is that: the raised maintenance of lead in blood of the child at the age of two and a half years leads in five years to disturbances in intellectual and emotional development. If metal level in blood did not exceed 5 micrograms on decilitre, problems did not threaten the child. If the indicator made from 5 to 10 micrograms, children had difficulties with reading and the letter. At last, those children at whom the lead maintenance in blood surpassed 10 micrograms, became three times more often other hyperactive and showed antisocial character of behaviour.
It is known also, that the lead overabundance in an organism results and in more serious problems: metal collects in bones and causes their destruction.
