Green tea prolongs a period storage of blood thrombocyt ...

green teaThe basic component of green tea, EGCG, helps to store thrombocytes in blood and skin tissues. The antioxidatic substance from tea allows to prolong "period of validity" of thrombocytes by means of an antiapoptosis - the programmed  destruction of cells, and keeping dermal tissues by the control of cellular division.

When scientists have added EGCG in concentration of thrombocytes of blood, functions of aggregation and coagulation of cells were supported more longly six days though duration of storage of thrombocytes is limited by five days.
In a storage time in thrombocytes there are biochemical, structural and functional changes therefore cells can lose integrity of membranes and haemostatic functions. Experts Institute for Frontier Medical Sciences in Japan have established, that Polyphenolums of green tea prevent such processes, and EGCG protects superficial fibers and lipids from oxidation and prolong a period of storage of thrombocytes of blood. Also researchers used EGCG on stored tissues of a skin. It has appeared, that the component for 100 percent keeps cellular viability of a skin and its integrity, allowing to keep a skin for transplantation operation. EGCG raises duration of storage of the skin intended for transplantation, about seven weeks at temperature of Celsius of four degrees, physicians inform.
